1:Survey and Mapping: RTIPL has carved a niche for itself in the areas of Survey, mapping, GIS data processing and GIS custom application development.


All the Survey and As-built data is incorporated in the AutoCAD to make digital data.Drawings are prepared as per the requirement of the project. Modification of drawings is performed by the QC team and final drawing is forwarded to the site engineer/client for approval. After completion of the QA proceedings, the maps are adjusted for plotting as per required size and the print outs are delivered to client.


Survey: It is done at initial stage for the exact kilometer and measurement of the road, footpath and the carriage way where the utility will be laid. It is usually done in two ways:

GIS Capabilities: The company is dedicated towards application development in the field of GIS which is looked upon as a tool to assist in decision-making and management of network

  • The AutoCAD specialists have sound knowledge of surveys and mapping,
  • Survey engineers are having expertise in OFC surveys, As-built preparation, Road-O-meter measurements, GPS readings and line diagrams

The GIS tool also helps in management of ‘Attributes’ that needs to be analyzed spatially.GIS involves complete understanding of patterns, Space, and Processes or methodology needed to approach a problem. It is a tool acting as a means to attain certain objectives quickly and efficiently. Its applicability is realized when the user fully understands the overall spatial concept under which a particular GIS is established and analyses his specific application in the light of those established parameters.



2: Turn Key Projects Execution: RTIPL has the experience of Turnkey Project Execution for past one decade. Right from Planning to deployment and system optimization.  We have built huge OFC networks across India for companies like Reliance, Tata telecom, Vodafone and Airtel. The entire process could be divided into 3 steps as follows.

3: 24X7 Maintenance:

RTIPL has vast array of quality equipments consisting of OTDRs, Splicing Machines, Visual Fault Locators, Optical Power Meters, Omni Scanners, Cable Blowing Machines, OFC and Copper Toolkits, Air Conditioned Vehicles, Talk Sets and Auxiliary Equipments. In addition to this the highly skilled and motivated work force delivers the entire gamut of technical support and services to the clients in real time.


Following are the maintenance services offered to our clients who take our fibre on lease basis.


OFC Maintenance

Mobilization of well equipped teams with all required equipments and skilled manpower on 24X7 basis for fault identification & rectification. It also involves testing of link attributes such as splice loss/link loss after the rectification of fault along with proper documentation in specified formats for the event in context of break down, down time and uptime analysis.



OTDR Measurement

Monthly OTDR measurements are taken on the spare fibers available so as to ensure that all the fibers are in good health. If any deviation is found, the team reports to engineer immediately and follows the instructions. The measurement report is submitted monthly to the engineer in charge.


Preventive Maintenance

All measurements for preventive maintenance are carried out as per prior agreed time schedule, which is given by the customer. The testing of all fibers is done periodically for each of the block sections and reports are verified. Any defects observed in the OFC cable or in any of the associated equipment is attended in consultation with the customer's engineer in charge at site.




The patroller's team patrols the total length of OFC routes on daily basis and keeps close watch on the cable routes to prevent OFC damage. In case of any new finding like  road widening/ nallah cleaning / formation or any unexpected activities observed which might damage OFC, the patroller brings it to the  notice of the engineer immediately.

Fault Rectification

Whenever there is a fault in the active fibers, the O&M engineer informs accordingly to the location engineer.  The respective location engineer is responsible to identify, locate and rectify the fault immediately within the stipulated time. The location engineer makes immediate arrangement of man, machine & material for the restoration of the fiber. The fault restoration is done within four hours from the time intimated.
